50 THINGS I’LL MISS ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL (in no particular order)
#38: High School Musical
So I’ve only been in two out of the eight plays at Moreau, but I’ve always felt so welcome around them. I’m naturally really shy, and when I’m with everyone in the musical, I feel like I can be my weird self and it’s okay. It’s so comforting, and it’s helped me break out of my shell and show all my talents, and it’s something I’m really gonna miss.
There’ll be no more random jam sessions, cry sessions, or joke sessions. No more polaroids. No more driving out randomly before rehearsals. No more changing up lyrics. No more standing ovations. No more swooning over Joey. No more playing with condoms. No more mic checks. No more traditions. No more right hands in. No more right hands out. No more squeezes. No more chants. And no more seeing any of your faces. And I’m just gonna have to find a way to work around that.
