An anchor is someone in my life who provides stability and who I can trust and be confident in; someone who I don’t have to question my relationship with them. It’s someone that I know will be my friend now, as well as far in the future. An anchor is someone I can trust to tell everything to and completely be myself around, and I don’t have to doubt how they feel about me or how close we are. It’s someone who will be there for me when I need them and even when I don’t; I can count on them without question. It’s someone who sinks deep and tries and ties me down, so that I’ll have one less thing to worry about and one more thing to be confident in. I feel like I don’t have much of these anchors anymore.
